Worship

Through worship, we have the opportunity to hear scripture proclaimed, give praise to God in word and song, pray with and for one another, celebrate the sacraments, and grow in our faith life within a community of fellow caring Christians.

St. Vincent is enriched by being a congregation composed of members from a diverse background of churches and denominations. We not only seek to meet the spiritual needs of our current members, but also the needs of those who are looking for a new spiritual home and those of future generations. As such we have a blended style of worship. On individual Sundays and throughout the year, we blend elements of "traditional" liturgy, "traditional" hymns, "contemporary" music, spiritual music, Taize, new forms of worship, ancient rituals, and elements for persons of all ages. This is not an eclectic combining, but rather an intentional blending, with the core of the worship service being based on the journey of faith found in Isaiah 6.

Worship Features

Children’s Activity Bulletins that match the weekly Bible readings that are specifically designed for 3-6 & 7-12 year olds.

Persons of All Ages are Very Welcome throughout the entire worship service, plus a Nursery is available for 0-6 year olds.

A Children's Message is offered nearly every week.

A Very Gifted Choir and Music Team provides superb music.

The sanctuary is easily Accessible by Wheelchair directly from the parking lot.
