Local Mission Support
In 2010 St. Vincent UCC presented checks to six local organizations as a part of our mission efforts within the community.  Based on 1 Timothy 6:6-19 and Luke 16:19-31,
Pastor Ben preached on the importance of not ignoring people in need, but rather stopping to help them.  He said that each of these organizations don't ignore people in need, but rather stop and help people.

Each organization received a $6,000 check for a total of $36,000.  See the links below to learn more about each organization:
+ Southeastern Veterans Center;
+ The Clinic in Phoenixville;
+ Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS);
+ Mensch Mill - UCC Church Camp;
+ Project Outreach (Spring Ford Food Pantry); and
+ Phoenixville Area Postive Alternatives (PAPA).

St. Vincent UCC was featured on the front page of The Mercury.  To read the article, click on St. Vincent UCC gives out $36K to area groups

Scout Sunday
Sunday, February 19, 2012 - 10:30 a.m. - Tentative Date
Boys and girls who are involved in scouting are invited to come in uniform and share in this special day.  To receive a patch, please contact the church office at 610-933-4243 or e-mailing the church office by February 1, 2012 so that we have time to order enough patches.  This date was chosen because it falls between Boy Scout Sunday and Girl Scout Sunday.  All scouts are welcome, and you do not need to be a member of the church or a member of a unit connected to the church; however, you do need to sign up in advance in order to receive a free patch. You can view pictures from previous Scout Sundays, by clicking on the Scout Sunday 2010 and Scout Sunday 2011 links.
