In addition, we have a well-supervised nursery for infants and toddlers so that adults can be in their own class as learners, or in classes with the youth as teachers and helpers. |

Registration Forms:

Registration forms are needed for youth ages 0-17 who will be participating in Sunday school and/or the Youth Group. A new form is needed each year to insure we have your up-to-date address, phone number, emergency contact info, allergies, etc.

2010-2011 Sunday School & Youth Fellowship Registration Form
(If you submitted a 2010 VBS Registration Form, as long as none of your information has changed, you do NOT need to fill out a 2010-2011 Sunday School Registration Form, as the information is essentially the same for both forms. The forms are intentionally designed this way, to reduce paperwork for parents.)

Sunday Morning Adult Faith Formation
Adult Discussion Groups are at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings.
--- All are welcome - visitors, members, friends ---
We offer two faith formation options for adults:
Option #1 - The Present Word - Study Series Format
| |
We meet upstairs on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the rear of the sanctuary.
This winter we have begun a new study series called The Present Word. Each Sunday we focus on one particular section of scripture and learn not only about its meaning for those who first heard those teachings, but also about how those teachings might apply to us today.
For more information about this series, please contact the pastor at 610-933-4243, or e-mail the church office. The cost of the booklet is $5.00 for regular print or large print. However, we do not wish anyone to be turned away due to cost; discreet scholarship assistance is available by contacting the pastor; and we have samples available for those who would simply like to try out a class or two before deciding if they would like to purchase a book.
This Winter's Study Themes:
The study this quarter focuses on God’s covenant through Abraham. God promised Abraham that through him all nations of the earth would be blessed. That promise was passed on from generation to generation until it was ultimately fulfilled in Christ. Lessons are taken from Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Galatians with a theological emphasis on faith.
This Spring's Study Themes:
The spring quarter is an in-depth study of John’s Gospel through the theological lens of creation. Creation is more than God’s one-time action of bringing the world into existence; it involves God’s ongoing action of reconciling and re-creating now and in eternity.
Overview of The Present Word:
The Present Word seeks to facilitate mastery of Bible content, understanding of the Bible in relation to life experiences and a greater awareness of God’s self-disclosure, especially God’s redeeming love as revealed in Jesus Christ.
Participants are invited to reflect on how they might live in faith and love. The Present Word nurtures individual growth of the participants as children of God rooted in the Christian community, life in the Spirit and Christian hope. Discussion and activities encourage participants to live out their faith in their individual and congregational activities.
The quarterly Student’s Book includes a Scripture reading for the lesson, study materials with reflection questions throughout, a prayer after each lesson, and additional scripture that could be read later that week.

Option #2 - Wired Word - Current Events Discussion
| |
We meet upstairs informally on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the office space.
Each week we have a discussion about a different current event, and how the event relates to scripture and the Christian faith. If you would like the weekly topic e-mailed to you in advance, simply contact the church office at 610-933-4243 or Office@StVincentUCC.org.
This Sunday's Theme (Sunday, January 29, 2012):
Topic: "Responsibility and the lives lost on the Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia"
Last Sunday's Theme (Sunday, January 22, 2012):

You can click on this Previous Topics link to get an idea of what types of topics the class has discussed in the past.
